Historic Preservation Commission

The Ringgold County Historic Preservation Commission was formed September 21, 2020 to assist the county in identifying, evaluating, and recognizing historic sites or properties within the county, and determining what should be preserved by providing evidence of the significance of said sites and properties.

The Commission is appointed by the Board of Supervisors, with each member serving a 3 year volunteer term. The Commission meets every other month on the second Tuesday. Please reach out to the Auditor's office at 641-464-3239 for the meeting place and time information.
